Senator, Kakamega County.

Biography

He a robust debator and an astute legislator. He is a graduate of Information Systems Technology from United States International University [USIU].

 

In 2013, he was elected Member of County Assembly [MCA]—Kakamega County representing Mahiakalo Ward. Subsequently, he was elected as the first Deputy Speaker of the Kakamega County Assembly becoming the youngest in Kenya. In 2017 he clinched the Senatorial seat for Kakamega County. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Minority Leader in the Senate.

 

In 2019, he chaired the Senate House Committee for the impeachment of Kirinyaga County Governor Hon. Ann Waiguru. The committee made recommendations that set precedent on the threshold of removal of Governors.

 

He is a renown playwright and director of award winning plays and films and he is currently running a mentorship program for Actors and Actresses across Kenya Equally, he passionate about talent development through sports—particularly sustainable soccer tournaments. Currently he sponsors and organizes the CLEO MALALAH SUPER CUP which has created platform for talented young players to showcase their talents and be absorbed by national and international teams.
